Part of what has enabled us to truly disrupt senior care is the unique skills and background of our core team. We have very strong experience in senior care, as well as very strong experience in technology, within our core team. We are not outsourcing anything, or designing and passing on to a dev team, we are building everything ourselves, using decades of experience in order to merge these two worlds of senior care and tech.

Nina, a nursing expert with a Bachelor’s degree from Norway, has extensive international nursing experience and spent 13 years at Discovery Health managing various divisions. She also earned an Honors in Business Management from GIBS. Recently, as General Manager of a retirement village in Johannesburg, she identified the need for improved technology solutions, leading to the creation of CareView.

Gary is a seasoned full-stack technologist and software engineer, recognized as a digital thought leader for his extensive technical expertise and ability to apply that to solving real world challenges. He has built code for NASA and more than half of the Fortune Global 500. He has spent most of the past 20 years innovating for South Africa’s largest banks, and has won numerous awards and accolades including being featured in the book “Great South African Inventions” (Cambridge University Press).
Johan Abrie

With over 25 years’ experience managing a range of pharmaceutical companies and also the largest supplier of wearable devices for senior care in South Africa, Johan logically heads up our wearable devices division. Johan has vast experience of therapeutic pharmaceuticals, OTC, commercial, FMCG and diagnostic / device products. Johan has also helped build several successful startups, and has a proven track-record as a highly effective business, sales and marketing strategist.
Corene Breedt-Rammutla
Strategic Advisor
After 21 years in the care industry, Corene transitioned to entrepreneurship and co-founded Circle Senior Living in 2018. She leads the development of a modern senior living brand and has worked closely with property developers to create tailored residential solutions for seniors. Corene’s experience in managing healthcare operations and pioneering senior living solutions gives her valuable insights into designing projects that enhance residents’ lives.
